ABOUT US

St David's is a congregation of the Church of Scotland, which is the national church of Scotland since the reformation of the 16th Century. The Church of Scotland is Presbyterian in Government and St. David's is part of the Presbytery of Glasgow. St. David's was founded in 1929 as the new housing scheme of Knightswood was developed.


The spiritual affairs of the congregation are led by the Kirk Session. The property and finances of the congregation are overseen by a Congregational Board, composed of the elders and elected members.

Our Purpose is to be a united body of disciples of Jesus Christ. Growing in the love of God through worship, fellowship, teaching, witness, service and prayer.

Our Mission is to provide opportunities to make the love of Jesus accessible to everyone by worship, teaching and caring.
